New St. George Printing Division and Second 6 Color 40 Inch Press
- June 11, 2002 -
Orem, Utah - Rocky Mountain Printing, a full service Orem based commercial printer, has announced two big changes. First, Rocky Mountain Printing is opening a division in St. George, Utah. The division will be run by company President Gary Bengtzen. The division will be located in a 7000 square foot facility, which will have the only 4 color press in the city, as well as a 2 color press. Rocky Mountain Printing has been in business for 12 years during which time they have printed a substantial amount of work for the St. George market. The company is known for fast turn times, customer service and computer to plate quality. They are confident that these three attributes will help them succeed in Southern Utah.
Second, they are installing a Heidelberg 6 color 40 inch perfecting press. This is their second 6 color 40 inch press. This brings the total number of presses between the two facilities to seven. With a faster running speed and the ability to print on both sides of the sheet in a single pass, this press will dramatically enhance their capabilities. The press replaces a 25 inch 2 color and will be installed by the end of July 2002. With this press and the St. George facility, Rocky Mountain Printing will increase its capacity by more than 30%. They are excited for the faster turn times and lower costs that this press will bring to their clients. |
